What does a Marketing Coordinator do at CareLineLive?
As Marketing Coordinator, I get involved in all sorts of marketing activity at CareLineLive. It’s a varied role, and I’m lucky to work in a close-knit, collaborative team where we often pitch in across each other’s projects. My focus is mainly on three key areas: planning and coordinating events, building strong relationships with local care associations and creating a range of content; from email campaigns and blogs to social media posts and customer case studies. I also support our Marketing Manager to make sure we’re event-ready, keep an eye out for new partnership opportunities and help us connect with home care providers in ways that are both meaningful and useful.
Describe a typical day in your role
A typical day for me starts by checking in with the team and from there, it’s all about juggling priorities. This what a typical day would look like for me:
- Checking our marketing schedule and what we planned for the day
- Checking in on event logistics, whether that’s hotel bookings, prepping webinar slides or sorting out equipment. I get organised super early for this!
- Meeting with local care associations to strengthen our relationship and find new ways to support their members
- Creating and scheduling content across platforms like social media, newsletters, blogs and emails
- I typically finish off my day doing a bit of research on upcoming events, finding care associations we haven’t worked with before and planning for my next working day
What I really enjoy is making sure everything runs smoothly. I love supporting my colleagues and external partners so they have exactly what they need to spread the word about CareLineLive.
Why did you join CareLineLive?
Most of my professional background is in the Australian arts industry. After taking a career break to support my family and manage a few international moves, I reached a point where I was ready to refocus on my own goals. While job-hunting, I came across a role on Facebook that immediately caught my eye. Part-time, flexible hours and in marketing, which I love! What really stood out, though, was the opportunity to be part of a company making a real difference in the care industry. It was a new sector for me, but one I felt drawn to and excited to learn more about.
Best part of the job?
One of the most memorable moments so far was supporting our Marketing Manager, Marie Page, on a content project where we filmed carers and a client of CareLineLive in their home. It was a deeply moving experience. Seeing the connection between the carers and their client was incredibly touching. The couple we met had clearly been through some difficult times, but the support they receive each day allows them to live with dignity, joy, and independence. Amid the challenges, there was laughter, warmth and so much appreciation for life. It was genuinely inspiring and a powerful reminder of why the work we do matters. That experience has become a real motivator for me every day. You can see the video below (I’m posing as the family of a service user busy looking at our Care Circle Portal).
What you most enjoy about working at CareLineLive?
What I love most is the purpose that drives the company. The software our MD, Josh Hough, created is genuinely making a difference, supporting carers and helping improve the lives of the people they care for.
I also really appreciate and value the culture here at CareLineLive. It’s is flexible, supportive and genuinely understanding, especially for working parents like me. That kind of trust and and balance makes a big difference day to day and is much appreciated.
What is something that people in home care have to deal with that you want to help fix?
Time. It’s the one thing carers never seem to have enough of. If our software can give even a little of that back to help them focus on what really matters, then I’m proud to play a part in that. I guess in my role, I also want to make sure my colleagues are equipped with everything they need to have meaningful conversations through events, webinars or resources so we can continue to support home care agencies.
Surprising or a fun fact about you
If you hear me talk, you’ll probably guess quite quickly that I’m French! I was born and bred in France but moved to Australia in my early twenties on my own for one year which then turned into 12! I moved to the UK in 2021 for my partner’s work. So I’m a proud dual French–Australian citizen (just like my two kids!) and while we’ve had a few homes around the world, England is the place we all call home now. And I love the fact that CareLineLive has expanded into Australia, it makes it feel not so far away.
