CareLineLive has experienced significant growth and ongoing success this year. In 2024, we marked a pivotal step in our expansion, with business growth in Australia. Additionally, we have enjoyed developing and launching a series of new and enhanced features to our software. Recently, we introduced our Home Care Hero Award, which takes the place of the well-loved Star Carer award. As we continue our journey, going from strength to strength, let’s reflect back and look at what a truly rewarding year 2024 has been for our customers and those using the services of CareLineLive customers.

CareLineLive: Australia

In 2023, we expanded our presence in the UK by acquiring CareforIT and Ulysses. This strategic move allowed us to successfully transition a great number of their existing eBrokerage customers onto the CareLineLive platform, enhancing their service offerings and widening our portfolio of customers. We have further broadened our reach by launching actively in Australia. This huge expansion greatly strengthens CareLineLive’s international footprint. We eagerly anticipate further collaboration with the team in Australia, headed up by Elena Neale, Australian Regional Manager.

CareLineLive is committed to continuous improvement and innovation. In October 2024, our Managing Director, Josh Hough, and Director of Development, Dec Norton, represented our company at the National Conference of the Aged & Community Care Providers Association in Adelaide, Australia. The event was a resounding success, generating significant interest in CareLineLive during a period of considerable transformation in the Australian home care market.

Expanding the CareLineLive family

As our business grows, so does our team. In 2024 we have been delighted to welcome several new members to our sales, development, support, marketing, and HR teams. Each new addition has been embraced warmly and has quickly become a valued member of the CareLineLive family.

It is truly rewarding to be part of a workforce filled with collaborative and supportive individuals who are wholeheartedly committed to our company’s ethos.

Expanding CareLineLive’s partner network in 2024 and beyond

We’re keen to partner with like-minded organisations, those whose vision is to improve health and social care with new and innovative ideas.

2024 has been monumental for the company, as we have solidified our position as a trusted supplier of digital social care records (DSCR). The Professional Records Standards Body (PRSB) has made significant strides in establishing standards for “About Me” and Personalised Care and Support Plans. Development of this feature marks yet another remarkable success from our dedicated product and development teams!

Our initiative, GP Connect, represents a significant advancement in our pursuit of integrated care. This has been extremely well received by CareLineLive customers.

We’ve continued our strong partnership with MOA Benchmarking which is a leading CQC compliance and quality improvement software. MOA Benchmarking certainly hasn’t disappointed!

In 2024, CareLineLive has established partnerships with local care associations, allowing us to assist providers on pertinent industry topics. Our coverage includes subjects such as the CQC Single Assessment Framework, GP Connect, and the advantages of utilising technology in home care.

Features new and improved

Our product team headed up by Product Manager Sean Orrell have been diligently working to meet industry demands and customer requests. A large number of new features were developed as part of our continuing position as an NHSx Assured Supplier – this included integration with GP Connect which once customer has described as a ‘godsend’. In 2024, both the product and development teams have actively listened to customer feedback, leading to the enhancement and development of the most requested features. Customer sales and support

Our sales team, led by Director of Sales Richard Bedford, has done an outstanding job of attracting new customers to the business. Meanwhile, our exceptional support team, managed by Customer Support Manager Sarah Kelsey, continues to receive excellent reviews and recognition for their dedicated support, ranging from onboarding to troubleshooting. Our Head of Operations Nick Shah and his team have kept us informed and updated with lots of interesting company data and news.

Events

The marketing team, led by Marketing Manager Marie Page, has been involved in 39 events nationwide, ranging from local care roadshows to large-scale national gatherings. These events have been enjoyable for all participants, providing a wonderful opportunity to engage with potential customers as well as our loyal existing clients who visit our stand. We have also taken part in over 20 online events and webinars. Teams from across the company have actively participated in these initiatives.

Our Managing Director, Josh, has been featured in several prominent publications and has participated in a variety of interviews including a live interview with BBC Radio Sussex in recent weeks. We have organised webinars covering a diverse range of topics, including CQC, GP Connect, and quick demos of CareLineLive as well as a new series of ‘Basics to Best Practice’ masterclasses for customers. These initiatives will continue as a prominent feature throughout 2025.

Recognising the true home care heroes in 2024

After several successful years of hosting CareLineLive’s Star Carer Award, we have decided to revamp the format and rebrand the event. It is now known as Home Care Hero, a quarterly celebration that culminates in the prestigious Home Care Hero of the Year Award. As we step into the new year, we have an exciting array of activities planned. From events to feature development and much more, there’s a lot in store for us. So, get ready to bid farewell to 2024 and enthusiastically welcome 2025!
