What does your role as Sales Manage involve?
I build strong customer relationships, deliver product demonstrations and collaborate closely with the sales team and wider business to share feedback that helps improve the customer experience. A key part of my role is understanding the challenges care providers face and demonstrating how CareLineLive can streamline their day-to-day operations and boost efficiency.
Describe a typical day in your role as a Sales Manager at CareLineLive
My day usually kicks off with a team catch-up and clearing emails, before moving on to following up with prospects and prepping for product demos. No two days are the same, which is what keeps the role so interesting. A big chunk of my time is spent talking to care providers, getting to know their needs and showing them how our platform can support the services they deliver. And of course, plenty of coffee fuels it all along the way!
What did your last role look like?
I’ve spent more than 20 years in sales across various industries, with the last three focused on the care sector SaaS (Software as a Service) space. That experience has helped me build strong customer relationships and given me a clear understanding of how technology can genuinely support people working in care.
Why did you join CareLineLive?
I joined CareLineLive because I wanted to be part of a company that helps care providers make a real difference. It’s rewarding to work with organisations that are supporting vulnerable people every day and to know that our technology can help make that job easier.
What is the most rewarding part of your role?
What I love most is hearing the positive impact we’ve had on our customers’ clients through better quality care and on the staff themselves by lightening their admin load. Knowing our work helps carers spend more time with the people who matter is incredibly rewarding.
What is something people in home care have to deal with that you want to help fix?
A big issue in home care is the amount of time staff spend on admin rather than with clients. I want to help change that by showing providers how technology can lighten the load, simplify processes and give carers the time and headspace to do what they do best, caring for people. Hearing how we’ve made that a reality for our customers is the most rewarding part of the role.
Surprising fact about you
Something people often don’t know about me is that I spent four years as an elected Town Councillor for my local town council.
