What does your role as Sales Manager entail?

Every day I get to walk prospective customers through everything CareLineLive has to offer, giving live demos, answering their questions and making sure they leave with a real understanding of how we can help them.

Describe a typical day in your role as a Sales Manager at CareLineLive

No two days are the same, but mine usually start with working through emails and following up on demos from the day before, making sure every prospect has the attention they deserve. From there, it’s a mix of running live demos, handling incoming sales calls and keeping our CRM up to date so nothing slips through the cracks. I also spend time connecting with the wider team, leading sales meetings and setting everything up so the next day runs just as smoothly.

What did your previous role involve?

Before joining CareLineLive, I spent 10 years honing my sales and support skills in another care company, where I built a deep knowledge and passion for the care sector.

Why did you join CareLineLive?

After my previous company went through some significant changes, I knew it was the right time for a fresh start. CareLineLive stood out straight away as a well-respected platform that people genuinely trust, with the remote working flexibility, structure and support I was looking for.

Best part of the job?

I love that this job keeps me connected with people, whether remotely or face to face. There’s something really rewarding about attending care shows, hearing what challenges people are facing and knowing we can genuinely help.

Most challenging part of the job?

Working alone can have its lonely moments, but with such a fantastic team around me, those moments are few and far between!

What do you most enjoy about working at CareLineLive?

What I love most is the sense of community. Everyone genuinely wants the business to succeed and there’s always someone ready to support you. It feels like a well-oiled machine, all moving together toward the same goal.

What is something that people in home care have to deal with that you want to help fix?

So many care companies are stretched thin, both with time and money. Being able to help them save on both fronts is incredibly rewarding and nothing beats hearing how CareLineLive has made someone’s working life that little bit easier.

Surprising or a fun fact about you

I can ride a unicycle and juggle, just not simultaneously! I’ve never been one to turn down an interesting opportunity, so it probably won’t surprise you to hear that I was the one representing CareLineLive as our mascot, Clive at the Care Show London – surprise!
