What are the challenges in your job?

Challenges in my role as a carer vary in support and working alongside family members, including dementia to autism and clients who have had strokes. I provide a high level of care to everyone I support.

How do you switch off after a hard day at work?

When I finish work I switch off by cuddling my children and walk my dogs, although sometimes I’m planning different activities for my enabler visits and communicate with family members I support. So, a carer never really switches off.
