What does an Event and Partnerships Lead do at CareLineLive?

As Events and Partnerships Lead within the Marketing team, my role is all about building strong, meaningful relationships with local care associations and partners across the UK. I focus on creating opportunities for CareLineLive to connect with home care providers in ways that are supportive, relevant and genuinely valuable.

This includes developing partnerships, identifying the right events for us to attend, organising webinars and sector sessions and making sure CareLineLive has a visible, trusted presence where it matters most. I work closely with my colleagues across marketing, sales and customer success to ensure our messaging is aligned and that providers feel supported at every stage of their journey with us.

Describe a typical day in your role

No two days are ever the same, which is something I really enjoy. A typical day might involve speaking with care associations, planning upcoming events or webinars, coordinating partnerships or working on content to support campaigns and sector engagement.

I also spend time researching new opportunities, organising logistics, writing copy and collaborating with the wider team to make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s preparing for an event, supporting a partner or helping shape how we show up in the sector, my focus is always on creating connections that have real impact.

What I really enjoy is making sure everything runs smoothly. I love supporting my colleagues and external partners so they have exactly what they need to spread the word about CareLineLive.

Why did you join CareLineLive?

Most of my professional background is in the Australian arts industry. After taking a career break to support my family and manage a few international moves, I reached a point where I was ready to refocus on my own goals. While job-hunting, I came across a role on Facebook that immediately caught my eye. Part-time, flexible hours and in events and partnerships, which I love! What really stood out, though, was the opportunity to be part of a company making a real difference in the care industry. It was a new sector for me, but one I felt drawn to and excited to learn more about.

Best part of the job?

I love the people side of my role: building relationships, working collaboratively and supporting home care providers in meaningful ways. There’s something really rewarding about bringing the right people together, creating opportunities and knowing that our work helps providers feel supported, informed and confident. I love it when a member of our team comes back from an event with positive feedback; or when a new customer joins the company after having met them first at an event!

I also enjoy being part of a team that values organisation, creativity and empathy and where everyone works together towards a shared goal.

What you most enjoy about working at CareLineLive?

What I love most is the purpose that drives the company. The software our MD, Josh Hough, created is genuinely making a difference, supporting carers and helping improve the lives of the people they care for.
I also really appreciate and value the culture here at CareLineLive. It’s is flexible, supportive and genuinely understanding, especially for working parents like me. That kind of trust and and balance makes a big difference day to day and is much appreciated.

Surprising or a fun fact about you

If you hear me talk, you’ll probably guess quite quickly that I’m French! I was born and bred in France but moved to Australia in my early twenties on my own for one year which then turned into 12! I moved to the UK in 2021 for my partner’s work. So I’m a proud dual French–Australian citizen (just like my two kids!) and while we’ve had a few homes around the world, England is the place we all call home now. And I love the fact that CareLineLive has expanded into Australia, it makes it feel not so far away.

I’ve also recently (December 2025) become a certified Mental Health First Aider following a training with MHFA England, a role I’m very proud to hold within the company. Mental wellbeing is something I care deeply about and I’m grateful to be able to support colleagues by helping create a safe, open and supportive workplace.
