CareLineLive has joined PRSB’s Standards Partnership Scheme. PRSB is the Professional Record Standards Body and exists to create standards and improve the safety and quality of health and social care. They ensure that the right information is recorded correctly and can be accessed easily.

We see this scheme as pivotal in the adoption and the implementation of standardising health and care information. CareLineLive is acutely aware of how the lack of interoperability impacts all stakeholders and being part of the drive for continuity in communicating information is key for our customers and people using our services.

Managing Director Josh Hough said “We have worked tirelessly to ensure that we capture person-centred information on our software system, and it was a natural progression to be drawn to the PRSB, its drive for interoperability and the benefits of standards such as the About Me Standard. It is a ground breaking document that will be embraced by people using services and professionals alike. The scheme will see CareLineLive pressing ahead to be at the forefront of the drive for interoperability, something that we have pursued for some time.”

Lorraine Foley, CEO at PRSB, said: “I am pleased to welcome CareLineLive as our partner. Conformance assessment against our standards is the foundation which will help them achieve their goals of efficiency, productivity, capacity and compliance of their services. We at PRSB look forward to working with them as they set out to realise their mission.”

CareLineLive has a clear understanding of the current challenges of software integration within health and social care, which directly impacts people’s experience when accessing services. Our customers can struggle to access sufficiently detailed, up-to-date information from other services, which is why the standards and interoperability are critical for continuity of care. Interoperability will empower home care providers and healthcare professionals to work with a truly person-centred approach. Additionally, there will be significant opportunities for sharing best practice and for professional development.

We constantly look for innovative ways of ensuring that our platform is meeting the needs of our customers. Our customer focus sees us reaching out for feedback of our features and we actively encourage feature requests, all of which are logged, assessed and acted upon where relevant to industry needs and requirements.

CareLineLive intends, as a minimum, to be assessed for conformance in conjunction with PRSB’s About Me Standard. We are also working towards conformance with the Personalised Care and Support Plan standards. We are committed to ensuring the data collected within our system relating to people using services is detailed and highly person-centred. The information currently collected in the PRSB About Me Standard is reflective of the data collected within our assessment feature. We are, and will continue to strive for excellence and develop relevant information collection in line with the standard.
